Snakestaff ETQ Gen 2

The Gen 2 ETQ™ from Snakestaff builds on the proven Gen 1 design with input from military, EMS, law enforcement, and civilian users. It retains a compact form while introducing three patent-pending upgrades — Power Curve™, Tri-Grip Windlass™, and Power Ring™ — for safer, easier application. Additional improvements include a straighter body, stronger band, enlarged carabiner lock, and new blue trainer models. The chemlight was removed for better durability and cost-efficiency. A QR-coded instruction guide supports untrained responders. Power Curve™ (Patent Pending): A uniquely curved band slot that evenly distributes pressure to minimize tissue damage and enhance safety during prolonged use. Tri-Grip Windlass™ (Patent Pending): Features three flat surfaces per side for superior grip and control, reducing slippage and glove tears while ensuring strength and reliability under pressure. Power Ring™ (Patent Pending): A steel ring beneath the windlass adds vertical clearance and mechanical advantage, making initial turns faster and easier than traditional tourniquets. Improved Tourniquet Body: A longer, optimized design maintains a straighter configuration and better performance even with imperfect strap tightening reducing failure due to common user errors. Enlarged Carabiner Lock: Redesigned with a larger interior for easier and faster windlass stowage, even after multiple turns. Reinforced Band Material: Added webbing increases rigidity to prevent folding and sticking, making application smoother and easier to loop around limbs. Integrated Instructions: The Printed Instructions & QR Code provide clear, accessible guidance for untrained bystanders to assist in emergency application when every second counts. Chemlight Removed: The chemlight has been removed to prevent accidental activation and allows for stronger materials while maintaining durability without increasing cost.
